We Won ... Again!

For the second year in a row the Curry County Democrat's entry in the annual Brookings Azalea Festival parade won the President's Trophy for the best use of flowers.

This year the Curry Dem's "float" was Bud Halliday's beautiful classic 1970 Chevrolet Impala decorated with profusion of flowers, a bubble machine, Beatles music, and Bud's life-like duck puppet Henrietta.

Thanks to all the Curry Democrats who helped decorate the "float" and marched in the parade!
